One of the premiere bail bond conferences of the year is just around the corner: 2009 PBUS Winter Conference & Membership Meeting. The Professional Bail Agents of the US meets annually, bringing together bondsmen from California to Maine, Washington to Florida, and all points in between.
This year’s conference is being held February 15 through 19 at the Las Vegas Flamingo. The fun starts Sunday with a golf tournament and jumps right into the meat with training sessions and a Board meeting. Monday, bondsmen will have the opportunity to attend sessions on business practices, reducing loss and a very important legislative update. Congressman Ted Poe from Texas will give Monday’s keynote.
Tuesday will continue with more business practices sessions as well as skip tracing training. The day’s general session features attorney Andy Alperstein, followed by an evening awards dinner. Wednesday’s highlight will likely be the political action luncheon with often controversial Sheriff Arpaio.
The conference concludes on Thursday with a money and finance focus. Sessions scheduled include affording retirement, tax consulting, and making more money in your daily routine. The conference is sure to be well received and well attended.
