Is The Orange County Jail Safe?

The Orange County Jail isn’t the best place for anyone to spend time. Probably one of the reasons the place keeps our bail company fairly busy. Now the jail is under investigationby the U.S. Department of Justice .
The Orange County Jail has had allegations ongoing for quite some time, but now things have stepped up with the justice department getting involved. One of the latest cases was most likely broke the straw that broke the camel’s back and caused the increase in interest. A deputy at the Theo Lacy Jail allegedly told some prisoners that another inmate was there because of child molestation, which was not accurate. The inmate was killed.
Its bad enough that these inmates have created wrongdoings to get them placed in jail in the first place, but allowing and adding to the problem should not be the objective of the deputies policing the jail. Federal Civil Rights of Institutional Persons Act protects all inmates from such behavior.

i have a freind in theo lacey- he’s there for a very minor infraction (breaking aheadlite, if you can believe that)-from what i have seen , the guards and the facility need to be investigated , and the aclu called in. during the h1n1 virus scare ( 40 cases in orange co. jails),the lacey guards were issued masks, but the prisoners were not. what about the people who visit them? is it not a PUBLIC health crisis? also, my freind has witnessed guards beatign prisoners for no reason, and has had a guard purposely shina laser in his eyes which burned his retina, and nothing was done. these guard sneed to be fired and out in jail. they are criminals.the whole orange co. system is blatently corrupt and needs to be investigated. and yes, i have called the aclu- acc. to them, theo lacey facility is being investigated already, andthat includes complaints against the guards. lets put these asshoels away -see how they liek beating and beratings….
