Keep Bailing

The mother stated that the man suffered from depression. Maybe that’s why he decided to add some excitement in his life. Driving a red Volkswagen Beetle, being chased through Westwood by the Los Angeles Police Department and a few UCLA police officers might seem like a nice way to spruce things up, but the end result of 8 hours of the LAPD firing multiple tear gas canisters in your car and tazering you through the window just doesn’t seem like a good way to spend the afternoon.

Apparently the man was suspected of threatening the White House. During the 8 hour circus, local apartments and the entire Federal building were evacuated. The police cordoned off Veteran Avenue and sidestreets where they finally blocked the red Volkswagen in. The Westchester man was finally arrested and taken to a local Los Angeles Jail. Probably not the best therapy for depression.
