Fly Boy Does Illegal Fly-bys…

Beech PlaneTake a pilot’s license, a small private plane, a jealous ex-boyfriend and what do you have? Tom Huey, 51 a man bent on angry suspicion proving to have a “bad attitude.” Talk about flying stalker!

Police state Huey, a seasoned pilot violated a domestic violence restraining order when he piloted his 1957 high-performance Beech plane several times over a Canterbury Village neighborhood in Concord, California.  Seems his ex-girlfriend lives in the area.

He was arrested by police on Wednesday, shortly after landing at Concord’s, Buchanan Field Airport. He’s being held at the on $150,000 bail at Contra Costa County Jail.

In the past, apparently Huey pulled out a handgun and threatened to kill her. He also has allegedly threatened her by phone.  She applied for the restraining order in 2008.  The judge ordered him to stay 50 yards away from her. But that didn’t stop him.

Neighbors in the area called the police complaining of  the distinctive plane circling and “buzzing” the area.  Many neighbors have caught the fly-bys on tape and photos. Police believe he’s done this several times since April of 2008, after the break-up with his un-named girlfriend. She’s still afraid he’ll continue to “stalk” her and wants her identity protected.
