Keep Bailing

In celebrity news this week: Chidi Uzomah, 25, was arrested in conjunction with an attack on Ryan Seacrest of E! His bail was set at $25,000, but Uzomah pled guilty in Orange County Superior Court. The charges included assault, battery, and possession of a switchblade knife. He has been sentenced to 15 days in  Orange County Jail, 3 years probation and was also ordered to stay away from American Idol’s, Ryan Seacrest.

Apparently, Uzomah was trying to get into Seacrest’s car, but was headed off by Seacrest’s security guard. A scene ensued with Uzomah and the security guard while the American Idol host sped away in his vehicle. Seacrest had been at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County for a charity appearance. You have to wonder what the defendant’s motives were and what would have happened if the security guard had not stepped in and protected the situation.
