Man Steals Pigeons, Uses Bucket on Head as Disguise

Talk about an interesting choice for a disguise… Police in Miami, Florida say they’re still trying to determine the identity of a man who broke into a bird store and stole about $7,000 worth of tools and pigeons. Yes, pigeons.

The incident happened in early-December, according to a report by the Huffington Post, when video surveillance footage from El Viejo Lazaro Botanica caught images of the man hopping a fence, breaking into the store and grabbing a bunch of birds and tools.

His disguise?  Well, the burglar was wearing a trash bag on his body and a bucket on his head!

A spokesperson for the store said this is the second time it’s been broken into in the past six months. More than a dozen pigeons were stolen in the first robbery, the owner said. Who knew pigeons were such a hot item?!
