Chocolate cravings are real. We get that. But we don’t get it when someone goes absolutely postal after their credit card gets declined when they’re trying to buy some M&Ms.
Police in Santa Ana, California say they’re still trying to track down a man who did just that. The incident happened in mid-February, according to a report by the Huffington Post, when a suspect walked into his friendly neighborhood 7-11 and tried to buy some almond M&Ms.
The transaction started off normal enough, but things spiraled downhill quickly when his credit card was declined.
Not only did he assault and hit the cashier, he knocked the cash register off the counter!’
It didn’t stop there. The incident didn’t end until the man knocked over another cash register and hurled a bunch of bananas at another employees head.
Although the man hasn’t been captured yet, when police do track him down, he’s likely to face fines and maybe jail time. His 75-cent-blow-up is going to cost him far more than that bag of candy.
