A man who went out drinking in a “Beer + Beer = Shenanigans” t-shirt has been arrested on suspicion of DUI, police said.
It’s unclear whether the police gave him bonus points for wearing a shirt that stated the obvious, but it is clear that driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is a crime.
Authorities say it started when some state police officers saw the man swerving all over the road. At some point, he struck a sidewalk curb and that’s when they decided enough was enough.
They pulled the man over and gave him a field sobriety test. Not only did he fail the tests, police then found marijuana and drug paraphernal inside the vehicle! They also found a machete, which was a bit confusing and concerning to everyone.
Suffice to say, the now-defendant was arrested and carted off to the county jail.
And, as you can see, his booking photo is definitely worth a thousand words.
