SF Jail Flushing Cause Court Flooding
Written by Robin Sandoval-March on June 7, 2010 – 9:15 am -SAN FRANCISCO — Sewer flooding on the second and third floors of the Bryant Street Court building Friday caused more than just a stink. Court Judges had to ‘double up’ and hear their cases during scheduled breaks.
All of the mess was caused by inmates flushing the toilets of the Bryant Street jail. It caused more than 2 inches of raw sewage to seep out, flooding five courtrooms at the San Francisco Hall of Justice.
