Dublin to Have New Courthouse Close to the Jail
Written by Robin Sandoval on February 4, 2010 – 12:32 pm -Alameda County — In what was originally slated to be a juvenile detention hall, the city of Dublin has opted for a brand new courthouse to be completed by 2014.
Having a courthouse in Dublin will also make transporting prisoners from the Santa Rita jail much easier. And, talk of an underground tunnel from Santa Rita to Dublin could make the transfer of inmates virtually seamless. This should result in reduced transportation costs and increased safety.

Written by 888BailBond Bondsman on November 24, 2009 – 10:04 am -A BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Police Officer, who’s name has not been released, was injured by shards of falling glass Saturday at the West Oakland BART station. The laceration injury to his head and face occured during the arrest of 37-year-old, Michael Joseph Gibson, a San Leandro man who was claimed to have been shouting at other riders – and the entire incident was caught on tape.
The video, which was uploaded to YouTube, shows the officer entering the train and grabbing Gibson. He then lead him to the opposite side of the platform. The YouTube video, which was titled to suggest the officer forced Gibson’s head into the glass, actually appeared to show Gibson throwing his right arm forward right before the glass shattered.
| BART Police Commander Daniel Hartwig, stated, “At this pont we do not know exactly why the glass broke, and that will be a part of the investigation.” |
Gibson, who’s had a history of mental problems was also injured in the arrest and taken to a hospital. He was later transported to the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on battery and Read more »

Back in the 1970′s, she was the quiet 26-year-old “bad girl” who carved an “X” into her head and hung out with Charles Manson, one of the most famous mass murderers of our time.
I remember the long red hair… I remember the Manson connection. But hey, I was just a kid. I also remember she was arrested for attempting to assassinate our then President, Gerald Ford, in Sacramento and that was a very bad thing. Her attempt however, was foiled by Ford’s secret service.
This past Friday, Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme had a welcome Read more »
