<p>Basically, the <a href="http://www.888bailbond.com/arrest.html">process for arrest</a> of protesters is the same as other arrests: they are taken to the local jurisdiction jail, processed with fingerprints and checked for warrants.</p>

<p>In my experience as a bondsman, assuming no warrants, or <span id="more-53"></span>resisting arrest, etc., most otherwise peaceful protesters are simply given a citation with a promise to appear in court at the required time. Bail is not generally necessary for protesters who are arrested.</p>
